Baumgartner’s Bombay by Anita Desai

 I’d read this friction long time ago when I was in Ahmedabad, its about 15 years now maybe.  Something about the book still fascinates me is the romanticism of Bombay Anita Desai has so vividly portrayed.

Kane and Abel

I’ve read this novel by Jeffrey Archer sometime in 1995 while residing in Ahmedbad.  Looking back after more than 13 years, i vaguely remember the story line. This novel has a stark resemblence to bollywood movies formula.

Jeffrey Archer is a remarkable story teller and this novel is a testimony to it.
